Outdoor Weddings at Sleepy Hollow

When reserving Sleepy Hollow Farm Bed and Breakfast, for your wedding guests, a  security deposit of $250 + credit card and expiration is required upon receipt of signed contract.  Payable by check, or credit card; VISA MC & DISCOVER are accepted.  

Any damages are sole responsibility of contract signer.  Injuries or damage to one’s self or any automobile as a result of an individuals carelessness , influence of alcohol, or negligent behaviour are sole responsibility of contract signer. 

Security deposit will be returned, or applied towards expenses provided the grounds and property are left in acceptable condition.
GENERAL FEATURES

Applicable 5% VA sales tax + 2% Orange County Lodging tax.

A complimentary Sleepy Hollow apron for both bride & groom (owner will explain)

Bird/wildlife sanctuary in a unique setting.

Pond for bank fishing/enjoying the afternoon dragon flies/ or evening bull frogs.

Saturday wedding, enjoy “The Hollow” from Friday 3 PM to Sunday 11 AM.

Full breakfast each morning for B & B guests.  Non-lodging guests, $15 per person.

Homemade goodies on the side board always available.

We require rental of all rooms and cottage for two nights and rental of grounds for weekend/Saturday weddings.

A deposit of 50% of all costs are due upon receipt of signed contract, by Sleepy Hollow and participant.  All remaining costs are due 60 days before scheduled event.


 LODGING COSTS  (can be passed on to your guests.)


All bedrooms in the main house and three bedroom cottage for two nights up to 17 people.   $1540

Tent rental required

Host your rehearsal dinner, casual party under tent Friday night.


For groups up to 100 persons


Exclusive use of the grounds beginning Sunday@3PM to 11PM


Chestnut Cottage for bridal party/guest available 2 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms


Includes over- night for 4 guests. Other lodging in main house available at regular rates.

Caterer- approved by us, will have access to main house kitchen  @$ 75 usage fee.

Alcohol- Banquet license/Alcohol permit. Required and to be acquired by contract signer.  

              Application provided by Sleepy Hollow.  

Rental of tables and chairs, dinnerware, glasses, linens, flowers, bartenders, servers, oil lanterns for tables.  

Innkeeper/consulting manager fee during wedding, $150 ( if applicable )

Wait Staff $18 per hour

Babysitting available

CANCELLATION POLICY

The 50% deposit is non-refundable should the event be cancelled at any time for any reason.  Cancellation 30 days or less from the scheduled event date will result in forfeiture of the remaining 50% fees.
